Task:
Develop cottage interior design project (1 floor) for a family with two daughters. In the kitchen-living room, provide for the placement of a kitchen island and a fairly large roomy working area of the kitchen. The bathroom has a shower, washer and dryer, as well as storage space. In terms of style and color, offer an interior option that would remain timeless for a long time.

Result:
For the kitchen-living room, several options for placing furniture were proposed, and in the end we settled on an option that is based on the principle of the “central axis”: a conditional axis passes through the room , along which the kitchen working area, island, sofa and TV are centered. Such a composition is very successful for creating harmony in space. The kitchen island serves a dual function: on the one hand, it is convenient to use while cooking and watching TV, and on the other hand, it is used as a dining table for the family and as a bar for parties with friends.
In the bathroom, we decided to make a cabinet with a washbasin along the entire wall to hide the dryer and washing machine in it. Storage spaces are provided in the central part of the cabinet, in a mirror cabinet and in a niche above the toilet. The interior is made in a modern style with a slight hint of modern classics, which is expressed in figured mirrors, furniture and doors with panels, flooring laid with a "French Christmas tree"; and marbled textures. Calm white and blue colors create a feeling of calmness, spaciousness and air, while warm lilac and berry accents add romance to the interior.
