Interior design of a built house in Kyiv

Problem:
A young family bought a built house with a marble fireplace. The main task was to make a small redevelopment, combining the kitchen with the living room. Make an ergonomic working area of the kitchen, place the dining and sofa areas in the living room.

Result:
The kitchen area design studio architects planned according to the working triangle rule. This rule implies placing the refrigerator, sink and stove at the corners of an equilateral triangle. Thanks to this, the cooking process will be as comfortable as possible, save energy and time. Also in the kitchen, at the request of the owners, there was a bar for storing drinks. It is located in a niche under the stairs.
In the living room, the dining area was placed near the window, the entrance doors were moved to equip a cozy sofa nook, and mirror panels were placed to visually enlarge the room.
In the hallway, a custom-made chest of drawers was placed, which provides for a hidden placement of a cat tray.
