Project Description:
Döner Market is a well-known street food chain, and ASAP! is Ukraine’s largest network of online restaurants. We faced an ambitious task: to design an adaptive interior concept that would allow us to open a restaurant point daily under the branding of different chains, namely six: POKE OKE, GREEN BAR, CHICK N RICE, HELLO BURGER, ШАНХАЙСКИЙ КОТ, and Döner Market. Each brand’s identity differs significantly in color, yet they all share a vibrant, modern, minimalist design.
Our solution involved using a video screen in place of a traditional sign and installing built-in light boxes with RGB backlighting. Renovations encompassed all restaurant areas: the order and pickup counter, the open kitchen area, and utility rooms. A swinging door with a window leads to the back of house (an ideal solution for such restaurants). The open kitchen area was done in light tones to serve as a neutral background for any branding. Light colors also enhance the restaurant kitchen’s interior, creating an association with cleanliness and hygiene. Large-format matte wall tiles, matched in tone to the paint, accentuate the shine of stainless steel equipment. Gray porcelain tiles with a concrete finish were selected for the floor. The order and pickup counter has two height levels: the lower part is the service area where the registers are located; the upper part is a packing area, visually hidden from view. The counter includes display cases for branded products as well as an interactive niche. This interactive niche allows anyone to assemble a puzzle that conveys the concept of this unique dining spot: "FOOD FOR EVERY TASTE." The interactive area draws attention from adults and especially children, complements the restaurant branding, and creates a fun atmosphere.
Thus, by visiting the Gulliver mall on different days of the week, you’ll see six different restaurants in one location. From day one, this vibrant and unique interior design has drawn lines of guests to the food court, delighting them with delicious food and a memorable interior!
